Already installed new oem end links and sway bar bushings, but I am almost thinking of buying a set of non-oem end links just to see since nothing else seems to be the issue and the noise seems to be coming from the sway bar.

As for the wheel bearing I jacked up the car and pulled/pushed on all sides and the top and bottom with no movement felt, spinning it by hand it seems smooth no sounds. I can't do the speed test with it jacked up since it is RWD and sound is coming from the front...

Nope, I think you're on track. I'm guessing it's probably still something in the suspension that's already (erroneously) been 'cleared'.

Similar problem, periodic clicks and particularly the noise happens when making an almost full-lock steering wheel turn to the left or right. I took it in my local mechanic a year ago.

The cause - bent or uneven stone guard (rotor shield) behind the rotors. Not a big deal. Happens eventually, but what a waste of $80 to get it inspected and not having the car for a whole day.

I'll check those rotor guards, would be nice if it was an easy fix like that!

Keep the suggestions coming, got some snow here now so tough to work on it but hopefully it will melt away soon and I can continue the diagnosis.

I finally got some time to do some more checking, checked the front rotor guards everything appeared normal with them. Checked all the bolts on the rear end with a torque wrench just to make sure, sound seems to be coming from front but thought it was worth checking. I removed the sway bar again and re-installed, torqued it to spec and believe it or not the sound now seems to be gone. Very odd as I didn't really find anything that I think was causing the issue. So we'll give it some time and see... Thanks for all the help from everyone, fingers crossed I may have solved the issue somewhere along the way!

I have this click and it is driving me CRAZY!!!!

MEFHANICS said it was the disc pads jumping around in the clip, I siliconed everything and new pads, same noise

I'm gonna inspect the rotor shield

I do notice that the rotor is loose when I take off the wheel

Maybe something there

Other options, top strut mount, will try wd40 up there see if that's a jelp

Tie rod ends and rack ends are worn but we checked them no noise it's definitely from the caliper area

Control arm bushing. I hope not

f it's the Damn caliper I would buy some brembos if I can't fix it

I heard about some door bolts or sumn like that that needed a plate or re torque?!

Of all the MILLIONS of threads and Google results I cannot figure this out!

Arrrrrgggghhhhhhhh

It's a click when I press the brake, change direction, if I'm I a rough road and the wheel is bouncing I hear it

It's a snap

I'll record a video tomorow

Help!!!!!

Well I am having the same problem, its a click at low speeds right after I touch the brakes (its coming from the front end).... does not matter going back or forward, or the steering wheel direction, always occurs; I already clean and lube slide pins on front brakes, my brakes have 25000kms on them so there is still plenty of life on them, I try checking on the sway bar link but the damn thing its too short so impossible to move even with a long bar........
Any ideas?

Went under the car and looked, the stabilizer rubber is worn, I changed the links already, so I'll change the rubbers and see...

Wait . . . W H A T ??

Are you saying that with your wheel still on, your rotor has play? !!

If that's the case, then you've got wheel fitment and/or lugnut issues. Are you running the OEM wheels? . . any spacers??

FAIL!!! changed the stabilizer bar rubbers, noise still the re,!

I frustrated, I'm wondering if some door hinges are causing it, I tightened them up when I got the car, I'm a have to pull down the entire brake system again, maybe it is the rotor moving, on the right side the hub doesn't fir flush, on the left it does, sigh

I am with you, getting frustated.... I am almost sure its related to the brake system, it sounds after touching brake pedal.....I have grease them and noise still there, not sure if if the rotor moving sideways now that its a little bit worn.....

Guys, there is NO WAY a rotor should be able to move sideways if the wheel is fitted right and the lugs are tightened properly. The rotor is basically like a big washer squeezed between a nut and bolt. Besides, if it was wobbling, you'd have the most horrendous vibrations when applying the brakes. It is my hunch that the pads have some free play and are shifting back and forth (axially) and making the click when the snap over to the 'other side' of the play. This would cause them to click when fist touching the brakes going forward, and then again if you touch the brakes when reversing.
