G35 cup holder swap

I swapped a 2013 dodge Caravans cup holders out for the stock ones. It works. Not perfect perfect but much better than spilling your drink all the time

Hmm I'm really interested in doing this. Where can I get these cup holders? When i bought my car she didn't come with the cup inserts and infiniti dealers don't carry the cup inserts separate and must require you to buy the whole replacement... This is a good alternative if you could provide some info on where to get these. thanks!

That particular cup holder is out of a 2013 dodge caravan. It's just the black rubber insert but its fairly strong. Im sure its available online or through the Dealer. You can just remove the cup holder and set the insert down there but if you want to take it a step further disassemble the cup holder and use a cut off wheel to cut the lower portion off. Your basically just using the old cup holder as a trim piece to give it a more OEM appearance. Its not perfect but it holds drinks well. I too bought my G without the insert. Was focused on everything good and didnt have a drink in the test drive. Good luck.

You lose that lid for the cup holder but oh we'll. plus you can pull back that insert fairly easy and there's plenty of room for anything you may want to hide.

I came online this morning to find a way to replace my cup holder insert and came across this thread.
It doesn't look the best, but it sure looks better than coffee going all over the carpets and seats! I'm going to see if I can get a price on it. Thanks!!
