2007 G35 Journey Door Stopper (Check)

Hey all.

My front driver and passenger side door will NOT stay open.

Frequently I get my shins bashed when it closes on me even on the slightest incline.

I had the same problem on my 2003 Accord and a simple door-stopper replacement fixed this problem.

Does anyone know of any DIY manuals here on how to replace this?

Does anyone know of the stock number (or website) for the replacement part?

If so, let me know!

Thanks.

_Michael

This happens to me as well. It doesn't bother me all that much though, the door feels just a bit heavier than other cars I've driven...

I just dont like the idea that I could get a shinectomy any time I forget to put my leg out and hold it open.

Anyone have any information about this?

I found the part I was looking for.

If anyone is interested, you can find the replacement door check at

and it is part #15.

Now if I can find a door removal DIY I am set!
