OEM Brakes on a 2007 G35S Sedan

Hello,

From my understanding the brakes on the sport model 2007 G35 sedan, they are a bit larger. My question is though, are they BBK? Need to know so I can verify if these new wheels I'm planning to purchase will fit. And I can't seem to find the OEM part # or info on them anywhere.

Thanks!

Yes, Nate, at 13"F/13"R, they are indeed larger than their non-sport counterparts, but NO, they are not considered the 'BBK' setup. The 2009 and later Sports have an even larger 14"F/13.8"R setup made by Akebono which is what is considered the BBK brakes for these V36 cars.

Thanks VQ, that's what I thought. So wheels that won't clear BBK setup shouldn't be an issue of mine?

I don't believe you can really make that determination conclusively, at least not without being given the size/offset/spoke configuration/ etc., but for the most part, the earlier sport brakes were not the ones that gave people issues with rim clearances.
