I had the driver side fender replaced by a body shop and I noticed that the passenger side has another metal frame structure and a foam seal. The driver's side is just empty space! Did they neglect to reinstall a part?!?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Here is a pick of my passenger side for reference with the foam and frame piece under the sheet metal. Can anyone help me confirm that the driver's side also has that frame and foam?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply muyrec! Do you know if the driver side has that metal piece as well? I drew a lame red arrow on your passenger side pic.
Much appreciated!

Thanks again for your reply. I'm not very happy with my body shop right now. They straight up left that piece out!

There is always the possiblity that they used (per insurance mandate) an aftermarket fender instead of a factory part, or perhaps the factory part has even changed since the original form when it was first produced. The bigger question is: Does the new fender fit well and look like it should (short of looking up the crack of it's bum)?
