Black Grille

Hello I just recently put black rims on my G and am looking to get a black grille to match. Ive looked at the OEM Midnight Grille but I think this one might give me a better look and match the rims better and its $100 cheaper http://www.grille4u.com/infiniti-g35...m-n81100h.html Has anyone used this site before or can anyone vouch for how good their products are? Thanks any information would be helpful. <------- here is a picture of my car

Why not paint your grille? If you don't want it permanent, you can plastidip it. I think plastidip with glossifier looks pretty good.

I was thinking about it but I'm not really great at painting or things like that and I also really like the look of the grille

I have a way better check out the embless grills that IONIC sells on our MARKETPLACE under exterior parts. They sell only the best mod items, guaranteed to fit even better than OE!

Yeah i agree with Gthing, that grille is not very appealing. And yeah Plasti Dip is a good idea if you want to see how your grille would look black, its very easy to apply

Don't get caught up in "PlastiDip", it's for moron Noobs that can't decide what color they want and it peels off! Use quality rattle can paint, black of course and a few coats of clear. Either gloss or semi gloss depending on your wheels.

Either paint or vinyl wrap will look a lot better than the P-Dip, grill is pretty simple to remove. A shop that does vehicle wraps should be able to wrap your grill if you're not wanting to DIY the paint. Here's a pic of my carbon wrap grill FWIW

I would definitely paint my OEM grille but Im not good with paint and never have really used spray paint to paint. Does anyone have a good tutorial video or guide on what paint to use or how many coats and how to sand?

So I've looked a ton of guides and half use plastidip and others use paint. I've seen that paint chips and plastidip peels so I don't know what would be better for a permanent paint job

Ive had mine dipped for about a year and it handled the tough MN blizzard winter without any issues. I even spray it down weekly with those high pressure sprayers and it still hasn't chipped.

ignore the haters. Plastidip on the grille looks oem, and is amazingly durable. 2 years on mine, and there's not a single chip on it. It's also incredibly forgiving to apply - it's a piece of cake to get a perfect finish, unlike traditional paint, where even minor errors are glaringly apparent.
