What is a good amp for Kicker DCVR10 10" with 2 Ohm final impedance of 1600 watts(800
Anyone who knows alot about Subs and Amp combinations. I will be getting the kicker DCVR10 10" subs with 2 ohm final impedance total of 1600 watts (800 watts each speaker). Peak power is 1600 watts but can also be 4 ohm at the terminal cup assembly. What is your best suggestion or opinion for an amp to use with it that makes the speakers sound good, don't over power, or blow the amp? Also what is a good wiring kit to purchase or wires? Thank you.

you are going to want to run it at 4 OHMS. the bass is going to be tighter, and hit harder. i would just get any 1000W monoblock Sub amp and call it a day. any 8 AWG wiring kit with an inline fuse will work. you will need a line output converter as well to pull the RCA signal as well. I recommend taking it somewhere to install. it took the guys at the shop i took it to over 2 hours to do. it cost me $60 to get installed.
EDIT: Just realized you were using 2 subs. IMO 2 10" subs in our cars is overkill and kills trunk space. litterally everything will rattle. ive got 1 10" 1000W sub in a hatch enclosure and it is way more than enough bass. if you go with 2. get a 2 channel 1200w or a Mono 1200w with outputs for more than 1 speaker lead.
