Has anyone replaced the chrome exhaust tips on their car? My are bent and dirty looking. The tips themselves are pretty cheap but I was curious if they are welded on and how easy they are to replace at home. Thanks

 

I have heard that you can actually hammer them off but will end up damaging the tips. I'm not sure how much of this is true but if you are are looking to replace permanently you can cut them off and weld on whatever tips you like. a lot of people have done it before a few google searches should bring them up.
