Just recently got my car serviced at 75K miles
I am going to be taking a long drive from Orlando, FL. to Seattle, WA at the end of the year and my car was coming up on 75K miles. We have a family mechanic shop that I go to and they do great jobs and great pricing and services.
I decided to get my spark plugs changed, front and rear brake pads changed, serpentine belt replaced, cabin air filter replaced, engine air filter replaced with K&N filters, engine oil and filter replaced, brake and clutch fluid drained and filled, power steering fluid changed, manual transmission oil changed and rear differential oil changed, and coolant system flushed and filled.
I used mostly Redline oils and fluids and ATE for brake. It drives very smoothly now. I was afraid the non-OEM fluids would make the experience worse, but I love the way she drives now.
Parts accounted for about $500 and labor was $300. So a little over $800 I got all that done. And I wanted to do all that because I knew I would be getting a good deal on the labor and I didn't want to deal with anything failing prematurely down the road. The whole job took about seven hours, minus two for downtime because I ordered some wrong parts so we had to wait on replacement parts. I just couldn't imagine what this all would have cost if I had taken it to Infinity/Nissan dealership.
I am hoping, with regular upkeep, that she would get to at least 150,000 miles without any major issues. Still still runs like a dream.

Before doing this maintenence, I did some reading on this forum regarding fluid changes and I heard some horror stories about using non OEM fluids with shitty outcomes. But, in my case, everything runs smooth like butter, even better than before.
My dealership wanted almost $600 for just the fluids...
Just a quick question and I know people are all over the place with this. My car is just over 65k how bad would it be if I said eff it and didn't change any fluids lol. Or are there fluids that I should change over others?

When I was having my fluids changed out, the old fluid looks perfectly fine. Even my belt was in great condition and my mechanic said it didn't need to be changed out. But the reason I decided to change out everything was for preventative measures so I don't have to deal with paying an arm and a leg later.
But seriously, after gear oil change and the spark plugs, everything seems so much smoother. Shifting is a joy and acceleration smoother as well. I also threw in some Redline fuel cleaner.
