2007 Bose amp replacement part numbers?

2007 G35S with Bose no nav.

My audio cuts out intermittently on cold days.

I've debugged the problem down to the rear deck amp.

I'm looking for a replacement but I'm a bit confused on part numbers.

Mine says "28061-JK000" with a big "G" on the lower right corner of the part sticker.

Looking on eBay I see that part number but other amps that look exactly like mine
but with slightly different part numbers such as 28060JK000, 28061 JK60A OEM b,
28061JK61A, 28061 JL00A.

Are any of these equivalent to my amp? What are the differences?

Is there any other place besides eBay to get a replacement Bose amp without paying
a dealer?

Thanks everyone!

Mick

P.S. Do these amps have problems in general? If I replace the amp with a used one am I likely to be doing this again in a couple of years?

I don't think they have many issues once you have a good one. I had my bose amp replaced under warranty early on for a pop in the center channel when starting the car up--a known problem for a lot of 2007's. The problem with Ebay is that who knows if you are getting a defective one even if you buy the exact same part. Also, how do you know it is the amp and not the power signal to the amp? You check the fuses?

28060-JK61A is the newer part number, so that will work as a valid replacement. Don't know about the other ones. The website I'm checking for part numbers just says:

"AMP ASSYSPEAKER Part Number: 28060-JK000 This part has been Superceded to 28060-JK61A"

99% sure it's the amp. Only cuts out when it's cold. Checked the fuses. When I put some freeze spray on the decoder chip of the amp the audio cut out. Did that a couple of times to make sure.

Talking Quick update on amp replacement

Quick update.

I ordered a replacement amp of eBay from danielwas (daniel_kv6746ndfg@members.ebay.com).

2007 2008 Infiniti G35 Bose Amplifier 28061 JK60A OEM b
I have a 2007 G35S.

Been in place a few days. Everything is working. No audio cutting out or making
weird sounds on cold days. Looks like I got the debug right.

Not sure what to do with the broken amp. There's a place nearby that does
free estimates on automotive electronics. Maybe see what they say on cost.
Maybe get it repaired as a spare or sell.....

Thanks for the help on part numbers!

Mick
