No, I had bullydog before the UpRev. The only reason I had bullydog was for the top speed and "if" I threw any codes I could see what they were and clear them.

I hear ya lol. But to me its worth the look on peoples face when they think their going to smoke you and it dont happen. The car on the left of me on the the time slip was a 12" Mustang GT 5.0 running drag radials. He came up to me after and said he thought he was going to smoke me. I said you did at the 1/4 he said yeah but I only had you by a .1 at the 330ft mark an .3 at the 1/8th. I said imagine if I had a 75 shot how you would feel and he said it would be a very interesting race lol. I love surprises....

UPREV tune improves throttle and Peak numbers don't tell the whole story, many like me pick up power "under the curve" Also once you change intakes etc your AFRs can change. My CNT resonated test pipes seem to be less stinky once my AFRS were fixed'

A new personal best last night, yes thats right on Valentine's day. All I can say is I have a very understanding wife. I ran three 13.3's in a row with the last one being my best. Im still running street tires but I think its time to move to drag radials. Guy was telling me to go with 16" 245/45 so im looking for any suggestions. I feel for you guys up north with the weather...

I'm loving this thread. DIY mods with a tune to make some decent power gains - nice!
Sticky tires will help you a lot off the line for sure. Maybe a couple tenths depending how much you are spinning. Now lose some weight and gut the interior - just kidding!

What did you do exactly to make that intake system? PVC pipe and some fittings? I did something similar on my Ford Excursion and worked well. How did you get the MAF sensors fabricated in there?

Oh and what are you guys referring to as a bad smell? this occurs with "revised" cats?.... unburnt fuel smell?

Yes my next step will be drag radials, im thinking the same as far as a .1 or .2 I could do nitrous but I want to keep it all motor and get as close to 12's as I can.
Now as for the interior been there done that and dont even bother lol. People hear me say that and they think im nuts. It saved altogether just shy of 100lbs closer to 90. I thought for sure it would take a .1 or .2 off but it was more like hundredths so it wasnt even worth it.
Now, the intake what I did was buy an intercooler piping kit of ebay 2.75" for $90, two k&n filters $75, two maf sensor adapters $70, and then the exhaust wrap $50. Altogether right at $300 now could've I have bought a stillen or others? Yes, but I like doing things outside of the norm. I ordered the maf adapters from a place in Tampa called Kings performance if I remember right. I cut the holes for the adapters an welded them in.
As for the cats, yes it is the unburnt fuel smell but to me it equals hp lol...
Just curious has anybody put in a colder thermostat and if so what are your thoughts?

The slicks will help a lot. I agree on the interior too. I pulled the rear seat and was sooo surprised how light it was...all foam.

That's cool how you built the custom intake! I'm going to look into that or other ways too.

Not sure about the t-stat but don't think you will find power gains there. You might do better putting a bag of ice on your intake manifold just before you run to keep the air cooler/denser.

Of course, a shot of nitrous will be the best power per dollar. Keeping it low, like you said (75hp), so you don't do damage.

Yeah I think in the end thats the only way to hit 12's but man it sure is fun being all motor a v6 and a 4dr sedan and running with some pretty fast cars lol... There was a 2013 Subaru WRX STI that pulled a 1.79 60' an a 13.33 I was trying get with him but we couldn't make happen but man that would've been a good race.

Nice times! Leave car the way you would normally drive it, seats etc.

It was, the only thing missing was spare tire and accessories from the trunk but thats the way I drive it around. Interior was intact because I had taking it out one time before I got my tune and it wasnt worth the time and effort. Thanks for the compliment...
