Just like a few other members on the forum, i'm experiencing my driver-side HID flicker then turn off. I've toggled it between 'auto' and 'on', which will turn on the HID but then eventually shut off. The one thing I noticed is that when the HID is off, the high beams doesn't work. From my understanding the high beam bulb is not connected to the ballast, but I maybe wrong.

Any input? I hope it's just a ballast issue..

 

Just to follow up for knowledge sake, I took my car into the dealership to get it diagnosed and turns out that I just needed to replace my headlight bulb. They tested the ballast since I originally thought it was a ballast issue but they said it was fine.

 

could be ballast Iam expericing same issue but on passanger side.
