Weird combination of problems!

2007 G35 Sedan

ISSUE:

- key fob will not unlock doors...I actually have to use the key.

- car will not start and car will say no key/insert Key fob...Insert key fob and tries to start, it say no key.

With that above, it tells me that MAYBE the key lost the programming or something to that extent.

If so, why does it has the following side symptoms below:

Side symptoms:

- interior lights work.

- radio does not.

- car seat does not.

- power lock does not work.

- trunk unlock does not work either.

- when stepping on brakes, the brake light works.

- head lights does not work.

- also when all doors are manually locked and i close the last door...it chirps like the alarm is enabled.

What I have done:

- new key fob battery

- bought new car battery (because it needed replacement anyways.)

Any ideas?

is it a key problem? ( I only have one key fob )

is it alarm enabled problem?

or something else???

Thanks in advanced!

Contact the dealer and give them your vin number and see if the I-key recall has ever been performed. There was a recall on the keys only for the 07 sedan. Can't say this will solve all of your problems but it may be a start. Hope this helps bro.
