2008 g35, how many qt of oil?

In the manual it says it needs 5 1/8 qt. Is it okay if I just put 5qt? Since they usually sell 5qt in store.

5 should be good. just check the oil dipstick to make sure your not too low when driving.

You can drain out 1/2 quart? Better safe than sorry. Keep the oil within the limits on the dipstick.

With a filter change it's 5.2 qts FWIW.
