Secret Compartment rear armrest

Well after having owned my G since new for over 6 years, I discovered today that there is a compartment underneath the leather velcro flap on the passenger side. Am I the only one that never noticed or knew about it?

First aid kit goes there. I thought you meant directly on the back of the pass seat .
