MREV question

I have a 2007 g35 sedan 5at base model... will mrev work for me? With the plenum spacer and doest it require tuning? Or is it even the right way to go? Also, how does mrev work? I've been trying to find out but failed in finding info... thanks

As your name states, you have a V36 motor which would not fit an MREV2 or a spacer. Those products are only for the V35 platform.

Oh lmao... noob move lol I just finished all my research last night and found that out... thanks. So I'm guessing the mrev is really just a reflow and port?

You can modify a 03-05 intake to mimic MREV gains correct.

Didn't the V36 dual intake system already take care of that?

The V36s are already maxed out from factory in terms of HP, sure you can add exhaust, intake, tune.. but even then you'll only gain like 20hp max. And when you look at the price vs the actual gains from all the mods, you will see its not worth it. Any performance mod on these cars is mainly for noise/feel not actual gains. The only way to gain serious HP is through Forced Induction. Hope this helps.

If you don't have to worry about smog test, you can get the HFC for your car. I can tell your from an before and after dyno on fast Intention HFC, I gain 16RWHP w/ my tune. If your not going to go Forced induction, i say get the fast intention exhaust. The diameter is 2 1/4 which will create a little back pressure giving you better gains for HP. If you want to free up HP you can get a light weight pulley and a CF driveshaft or aluminum.

Where are you located? If you don't want to buy a brand new exhaust, i am selling mine once i get my new one on. It's a fast intention exhaust.
