What do you guys think of this car?
He says it's loaded with every option, and is a clean car.
It had also been into a minor accident. Also he says the kilometers are 170,000 km, not the listed 17,000.

 

Nissans and Infinitis are good cars and it seems like a deal worth considering.

First impressions: a little skeptical based on sketchy website, especially because it's listed as a Nissan and there's minimal info in the description. You may really want to profile the previous owner(s) and figure out if they really know what they're talking about, if they took care of the car, and if it was driven hard. Remember, this is a 6 year old car with 100k miles on it, and they can be expensive to maintain.

That being said, Nissans and Infinitis are good cars and like most others, will treat you well if you treat them well. In proceeding, go take a look at the car. Inspect it inside and out. Ask for service records. Some things to ask the previous owner:

*First or second owner? (more than two can be a big red flag)
*Why selling?
*Accident - where on the vehicle and what parts were replaced? Was it towed or driven from the scene?
*Any modifications? (it looks pretty stock)
*Garage kept? (especially being a northern car)
*Known problems? (suspension, fluid leaks, etc.)
*Fully loaded. What does that mean to the owner? If he says navigation, technology, and premium packages, you're good.

Next, and if you like the way it drives, ask to bring it to a shop to have it checked out. And by shop, I mean an Infiniti dealership. They will know all the right things to look out for and give you a lot more information, especially if the car was dealer maintained. Inspection should cost you about $50 and will be the best $50 you ever spent.

Also, last thing to consider is, how long do you plan on owning it? If you're planning on running it into the ground, then look elsewhere, because I'd be worried about owning any vehicle that's this expensive to maintain over 150k miles. If the interview and inspection are good, I'd say the price is right. Good luck and keep us updated!

EDIT: Just as a side note, I have the exact same car, and mine has been an angel to me.

 

So I went and test drive it in the weekend. First off I could smell antifreeze, he said that he had just replaced the thermostat. The sway arms need replacement. I would guess this is why it pulls slightly one way. He says "it's has only been in one accident that I know of". The damage was in the front right corner, so I noticed the headlight doesn't exactly fit back, but im sure I could probably fit it better. The drivers door kind of sags, I could tell just by closing the door, and the right rear door gaps are off a little. Other then that it drive good, and he offered a set of winter tires on steel rims. Any feed back?
