trying to fix window 1 click up, 10 sec hold wont work
Alright guys im hoping my driver window motor isnt going. What happened was the one click up stopped working maybe because i was fiddling with the window because i was ashing my black n mild out of it lol. It has happened a few times before so i simply hold the button up for approx. 10 seconds and it worked again
Not this time.. i rolled the window up and when it was up i held the switch up for approx 10 seconds, i hit the switch to go down and the window didnt want to go down, waited 20 seconds it went about 1/4 down. Then it gets stronger then weaker after i try the 10 second method again (obviously the 1 click isnt back to normal again).
What could i do/what could this be?
All the other windows are working fine and so is the one click down on the driver window.

I always thought the reprogramming method was to roll it all the way down and hold it there for 10 seconds, then roll it all the way and hold it there for 10 seconds. That way it would set both limits.
If worst comes to worst, you can always pull the neg battery cable and then do a total window reset.

I didnt try up for 10 then directly down for 10 but i tried both at different times and after the 10 second was up (say i held it up this time) i then tried to roll it down and it.maybe moved a few milimeters before it stopped, then i waited a little (lets say 15-20 seconds) then it would only go down a few inches than stop. I had to keep doing that same exercise to finally get it down all the way, but then when it was finally down all the one i could manually hold it in the up position and it would go up smoothly but still not able to 1 click all the way up

I'll repeat it another way:
1) get the window all the way down (by what ever means necessary)
and then
2) trigger the DOWN button and hold it there for 10 seconds (even though the window is all the way down)
and then
3) roll the window all the way up (by whatever means necessary)
and then
4) trigger the UP button button (even though the window is all the way up)
and then
5) wait about 20 seconds and see if the one-touch works again
and then
6) report back here with the results.
