Possible to wire up heated seats in base g35?

I am looking to purchase some new seats for my G because after 183k miles they are worn to crap. I sat in a friends new g37 with 20k miles on it and noticed I really need new seats. I was wondering if I get a g37 set with heated options, would i be able to wire up the seats and find a 07 g35 center console with the switch?

I don't have much input except that, as long the seats are dimensionally the same, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. Now that being said, sometimes if something is possibly doesn't necessarily mean cost effective either.
Be sure to keep us posted, as soon many of us will be approaching the higher tier mileage on the HRs.
I'm still below 100,000, but glad to see there is the possibility with proper maintenance that it will serve me well.

Keep us posted!

You might want to do some investigative work to see if you even have the necessary wiring in your car. It could be possible that they used a different wiring harness in the base models that does not include the plug-ins for the either the switch or the seat heaters. To be sure, you could look to see if they're indeed there (tied up and unused). Another indicator may be if the correct wire harness part number is different for your car vs. the number for a model with the Premium option.

You can wire pretty much anything up if your willing to do the surgery. My truck is a testament to that. There are a couple of ways you can go at this. You can remove the seat covers of the new ones and put them on the old foam (I did this when I got a cut in one of mine) or you can remove just the heaters and put them under the seat cushion you have now. As for the wiring, you can get as creative as you want. You can buy the factory switches and wire them up the power port in the console, that's rated a ten amps and should be plenty for the seat heaters.

unless I was doing a replacement to model already with the heated seat option. Personally, id stay away from this.
I would just be anxious any time I used the seats that my butt will combust.
