Peeling interior door panel trim fix help.

How in the world would I fix this on my 2007? Whoever had this car before me destroyed the door panel and steering wheel. Please help.

Zac, you can search just as well as I can so I'm not going to bother, but I will tell you there are at least a hundred threads that have asked the same thing, and there are at least a few (enormous) key threads that address the replacement or repainting of those trim pieces. Basically, the original paint was flawed and it happened to pretty much every single one out there until they updated them in the later model years.

I understand that I can Google just about anything. The problem is that I don't know exactly what is called. So whenever I search it pulls up the wrong stuff. Also, I searched in this site for something and I guess I just missed it, but I couldn't find anything. I'm also new to this site and dont know all about navigating it either. So I figured the easiest thing to do would be post pictures and just ask. Not that I'm demanding For people to go out of their way to research, but just wanting to know others experiences. Either way, thank you for the input.

Stop letting women with long fingernails drive your car.....

There used to be a great product for this called "Marhide". It was a paint that actually bonded with the plastic and didn't scratch off. My cousin did the whole inside of his car with it and it turned out great, looked OEM.

Replaced the wheel cover and the door trim and made the car look much newer. Just make sure to match up the steering wheel trim to your exact car (ie tech package or not).

Today's youth is all about being spoon fed. I had the same issue but instead of posting the question I used the little search function and was presented numerous posts including DIYs to remedy the problem.

looks like you may need a new battery for your key fob, that would be battery size: CR 2032.

Although I agree with you, the, so called, "search" on this site is woefully in adequate.

You are using the advanced search option, right?

Coupe, Premium package, sport suspension
Just go to google and start with "site:g35driver.com" then enter your search terms. Much faster, much better.

I took mine out, then painted them the color of the vehicles exterior with some color-matched paint I had left over from my spoiler and grill. Had to do all the sanding and buffing too.

Read the top line at the top of the section page about who has had to replace their wheel/door trim.

All 4 doors and my steering wheel panel peeled on my 08 G35. What I did was cover them up with those remin kits that come in a variety of textures and colors. I chose black and it looks good :
