Those 144,000 miles are just really worrying me on this car, but test drove it today and fell in love with that thing. Just wondering what you all think.

As you can see the car fax look pretty solid the previous owner really maintained but really racked on some damn miles in 8 years.

Im just wondering if you all think this car will be more of a hassle since it has a high bit of mileage and may start to have some problems in the near future?

 

Price seems kind of high to me considering the miles (and the $600 dealer fee). Still, from the Carfax it looks like the maintenance was kept up with so at least it would appear to have been taken care of.

 

I don't know about the mileage, but it looks like the right front headlight has been replaced, which might indicate body damage. I'd poke around under the hood on that side to see what's up. Another giveaway of body work would be little or no rock chips on the front end... 144k with original paint would probably mean that the front end would have a good bit of wear.

Then again, there are some things that you let slide on a $10k car.
