Meaning I can only get the old plug out but not the new plug in... Also I don't even know why the plugs that are in there right now is 15mm, I thought OEM was 14mm? so idk if they were changed out already or something I'm so confused right now haha. So I'm going to return them and get the correct NGK if anyone has the parts number.
oh geez . . .

I'm sorry, but Scraggle is flat out wrong! That PLFR5A-11 is clearly the wrong plug, as it is:
A) a platinum plug
B) a heat range 5
C: a 14mm thread
So basically, in the time it took you to post the question here, you could have just searched this for yourself on google, but instead you got complete misinformation.
Even if you could have fit them into your car (you couldn't, cuz wrong thread), they would have fouled (cuz too cold) and would not have lasted as long as iridiums (cuz platinum).
(this is V35 generation stuff, NOT for our V36 generation cars)

The correct NGK Laser Iridium part number is DILKAR7B11 (#1406), but why on earth would you want to spend that much for plugs?

Just buy the Denso FXE22HR11, they are way cheaper and are just as awesome. Don't buy into a bunch of spark plug hype. The stock plugs in your car are as good as anything you could put in there. You'd never be able to tell the difference between whatever XYZ wizzbang plugs you're considering and the stock ones unless you're drinking the koolaid.

Uh, yeah no **** its the platinum plug, that's the one I recommended.

But, yes I wasn't paying attention to the v36. That's my bad. Laser platinum, however, is a better option than iridium. Iridium doesn't last as long as they claim. It's better to get 50k good miles out of a platinum plug than expecting an iridium plug to last 100k. Cuz they degrade progressively. They all have copper cores.

yea I'm going to head down to infiniti dealership today and pick up some OEM Denso. All of the auto parts stuff up here in Canada are clowns, their vehicle match thing always thinks that I have a 07 G35 coupe with a DE. And the only plugs they have are Champion, NGK and Bosch. To ship Denso up is pretty expensive as I can only get them on eBay haha. Hopefully Infiniti has some in stock.

For that very reason, I have learned that whenever I want to be sure there will be no mistakes made, I always just tell them I have an '08 G35, as the sedan was the ONLY G35 model that year, and mechanically speaking, the '07 and '08 sedans are identical twins. Saves a lot of headaches.

That's obscene!

Dude, you can pick them up on sale for less than $10 a piece here. Heck, given that you're in Canada, you can even go online and order a whole set off of ebay for $75, with an extra $10 for the added shipping to Canada, and $14 for customs charges. The grand total is still less than $100.

Apparently, they're made of dealer profits.

The suggested retail price (per Infiniti) is $20.50 each, so that dealer's pricing represents a 100% markup exactly!
