Alright so ive had my 08 g35x for a couple weeks now, and am loving it!!! I want to start using the slap stick, but ive never really driven manual or used a slap stick before... are there any risks to the transmission if i dont up/down shift at the right rpms? or is it just a sweet tool to use when i want to drive it in a lower gear to really make her growl?

 

It's called tiptronic. There's a million threads on this all over the internet. In short: It's harmless.
