Hi my name is Jordan, I just recently picked up a 2008 g35s from Ohio and need help with locating the part or part number for the battery cover. I just ordered the bracket for it online for 28.00 and need the part that opens in the center. I've done a lot of searching and turned up nothing. I do not need the part that you clip to the top of battery. That is ordered. Just the part that says battery cover on it I believe and pops up so you can see the battery. I can post a picture if you don't know what I'm talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also does anybody know where I can get the clips to clip the bracket on? I also need some for the brake cover as well because some are missing. The push clips if you don't know what I'm talking about. I've found some just don't know if they are the right ones.

 

I believe the covers (66894-JK000) are discontinued, but they should be easily sourced from an auto salvage supplier (aka wrecking yard). The little tabs are available from pretty much any Nissan or Infiniti dealer, as well as in an equivalent generic form from auto parts stores.

 

Thanks, I actually found something this morning on discountinfinitiparts.com. It says it is the lid, left. Doesn't really have much of a description.. It's also in body hardware so I'm not sure if it is the right part. I tried to call infiniti this morning to figure out the part number and nobody picked up. Here is the link

I have a 2007 G35x, but the PN for the battery cover should be the same.

Be careful, Lid - Left, and Lid - Right are both #7 on that diagram. The left side of the car would be the driver side (not your left as you open the hood). I think you want Lid - Right
