aux 3.5mm
If I want to make my aux jack into a 3.5 female, do I need the audio video cables that plugs yellow, white and red or only red and white

sound only. If you want to display video you need to connect a device that outputs video via the "Yellow" connector. White and Red only carry audio.
Also you cannot display video while the car is moving, but audio will continue playing even if you are moving.
