Naked Exhaust End

After doing research for DIY car stuff and always landing on this website, I figured it was time to join in on it.

So I wanted to hear what my 07 G35x sounded like without the mufflers for a couple days or so. Got them outta there and went for a drive. Blah blah blah, loud, sounds cool, sounds bad, sounds of sounds yada yada yada lol.

Anyways, I was curious as to if the bare pipe hanging down under the car where the muffler used to be attached poses a harm to any of the underside components from the heat of the exhaust?

That is never a good idea, for the car or you (carbon monoxide is real).

Yep, that was another big worry of mine. The CO not leaving far enough from the vehicle.
