I am a proud owner of Infiniti G35, 2008. Last week, my head light bulb went off, so I decided to replace it by myself. After checking out some videos on youtube, I gained access to back side of headlight by opening through the wheel fender. While removing the bulb retainer clip, I broke the plastic notch on headlight assembly or lens body where the clip locks to secure the bulb. I am not sure if anyone had the similar experience. Now I fear that I need to replace the entire headlight assembly. I appreciate any feedback or tips to get this fixed.

I've broken it off on another car. As long as you have one of them, intact, you'll be fine.
