G35 Computer mpg screen?
G35 Computer mpg screen?
Sorry for repost put this in the wrong forum before.
So i'm in the market for a used G. Found one. Went to look at it and it looks in pretty good shape. Not perfect, but it was definitely well maintained, and has records. One thing i was wondering about. The car is a 2007 g35 sedan (not the awd)
When i looked at the cars dash mpg, as well as the computer mpg it says the car has averaged only 15.3 mpg on it. Should i be worried about this?
I have read about the ecu reset and such and i'm assuming this owner never did one. (He is the original owner). My brother has a 2008 awd and his computer says he averages at least 18mpg. Why such a big difference? Is there something i may be missing?
I really want to buy this car, but the dash mpg reading makes me feel like something else is off. Or am i reading too much into it.

That's actually not a big difference at all; a difference of 2.x mpg is nothing. Everyone has different driving styles - it could be that, or he could have driven strictly in the city in which case 15.x mpg is actually very good.
