2007-2008 oem wheel weight?

2007x heavier than 2008x?
I have a quick question. First off i bought my first G35X the other day. I love everything about the car. However been driving it a couple days and it feels a bit heavy.
My brother has the exact same car. However his is a 2008X. His feels alot lighter. When i turn both wheels mine is a bit tougher to move as well. I checked power steering and it is perfectly fine.
We both have the oem wheels but different tires(mine need to be replaced soon) . Could this be making that huge of a difference? Are there maybe different types of the oem wheels with the 2007 and 2008? Could this be suspension related? Is it heavier?
