Guy near me is selling this used stillen exhaust (See attached photos)

How does the condition look to you? Would you buy for $400? If someone can confirm that I can shine these bad boys up, I will buy asap.

Not sure of the original cost. But that seems super reasonable for a coupe exhaust

 

Brand new the exhaust system is about $1200 I believe. I'm just concerned about the rusted areas, I just want to make sure if that is normal wear and tear? Also is it fixable with some elbow grease?

 

Stillen's exhaust is manufactured by Magnflow but they'll never admit that fact! That's a good price for a quality cat back exhaust system...Gary

Funny thing looking at the photos again, looks like the high flow cats are on there as well! Or are those test pipes? Either way he never mentioned it, but he said "everything you see in the pic for $400" so I guess they are included as well.

Anything I should know about HFC's? I have no clue what they do. Will I still pass inspection? In NY State, as long as your check engine light is off, you basically pass. They do plug into the OBD port though.

P.S. Can anyone identify the HFC's?

 

I own the Stillen exhaust for the sedan, to be honest these look to be in great condition. You don't even want to know how much it cost for me to get them new in Canada.

 

nothing really wrong with used. if your saving money, 2nd hand is the best way to go.
