07 g35s Clutch???

2007 g35s Sedan 80,000 miles

Hey everyone, so I've read a lot about the slave cylinder going bad on these vehicles and I'm unsure if this is my clutch that needs replaced or something else?

So when getting on the vehicle from 1st - 2nd gear It is sort of difficult getting the gear in place and at times it's grinded leaving me having to put it in neutral and ease it into gear. driving normal is perfectly fine. no grinding but still feels like I need to put a little force to put it into gears.

Also when very cold out, it sometimes will grind a little into 4th or 5th but its very rare it does that.. I feel that the clutch isn't engaging all the way and that's why its doing so.

Any input would be great. Thank you all for your time.

when your csc fails oil will drip from the bell housing to the ground and your clutch pedal doesn't return much. you won't be able to select any gears at all. although you can start out in gear and shift without clutch to get home...
its pretty obvious when it happens cause your sol
I put a z speed hd csc in mine and have had zero issues since with my jwt clutch/alum flywheel combo

What fluid is in your transmission. Make sure it hasnt been replaced by non-Nissan specific.

I agree. I'd look at a fluid change.

The slave cylinder is your clutch pedal dropping to the floor and not coming back up. that's something different.
