Car will not start

I have 2007 G35 and it won't start. When I start it all it does is starter makes whining spinning sound. I was driving about 40mph when I felt loss of power and then car stopped. I am posting video of the issue that is occurring.

Any codes? Did it sputter to a stop? Sounds symptomatic of a fuel pump failure if nothing else shows up on the dash.

Two things to look for if your car doesn't start:
If you hear something turning and grinding, check your alternator. If you hear nothing but clicking when you turn the key, your battery is completely dead.

Check your alternator. It keeps your battery charged when your motor is running and a bad alternator won't do that, which could explain the car losing power and shutting down.

If it was your fuel pump, you'd usually feel your car acting up when you are driving. It doesn't hurt to check though because a bad fuel pump can cause plenty of other problems too.

Just a note that the last time this happened to my G, I had to replace both my alternator and I think it was the cam sensor, whichever was the problematic one for the G.

I am getting P0340 and P0345 codes. I can't seem to figure out which sensor it is and where they are located. Can anyone guide me to the correct part no. and where they are located?

Sounds like your altantor went bad and now run off the battery your battery is dying. Go to an auto parts store and get them checked out.

Those codes are for both your camshaft sensors, so I don't think it's them. You can check their resistance to make sure they are still good. I would check your battery voltage it should be about 12.2-12.6 volts. Get yourself a multi-meter, FSM, and get your hands dirty!
