does anyone know why my 08x is clunking? it stops when i press the brakes. also - would it be related to the struts or shocks? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

 

Any luck with your metal clunk? I have the same issue on my '07x.

As for CEL, you might check the codes. My CEL kept coming on, ended up being a recirculation valve that I had to replace, under the gas tank. Easy fix. Here's the part I ordered:

 

I haven't had any luck. i replaced the pads and brakes all 4 rotors and pads. it still ended up clunking. also it was a bad 02 sensor that was throwing the code. ill let you know if i find out what the metal clunk is thanks!
