So I've always wanted a remote starter for my car, but I'm not sure what to get. I'd love to use the original OEM keyfobs, however I'm not sure how well that would work. Are there kits to do that? I'm not sure how the range would be for that. Would it make more sense to get an aftermarket set? What would be a good option?

I was looking into the viper system a while ago and something about it made me walk away. There were a couple things I didn't like. I think it was the fact that you lose the features of the oem intelligent key. I can't tell you how many times that thing has saved me from locking my keys in my car. Hopefully someone else can chime in

 

I’m a minimalist and the Viper 4205 is a one button 2 way system. Good stuff.
