So i recently bought this 2007 g35x with 118k miles on it, and apparently there is absolutely no power to the arm rest power outlet/ RCA aux spot, it was working at one point but out of no where stopped working, from what i’ve read the arm rest recieves power fully from the radio, i checked absolutely all my fuses & they’re fine & my radio works 100% fine too except for the aux, anybody have a solution for me please
A Fix/Explainiation would be much appreciated

 

The ground wire is probably broken loose, you can disassemble the center console to find it. You can test for a broken ground by using a digital multimeter to probe for 12v in the socket with the negative leads clipped to a known ground source, if you find 12v then ohm out the other pin to ground and it's probably open.
