Fabricate some kind of bracket and bolt the new sensor somewhere (but not to the radiator!) that the harness will reach. You should check your local wrecking yards and pick n' pull salvage lots for another G to cut the harness off.

Make sure it's spliced on properly, if you don't have a soldering iron, heat gun, shrink tube then have a local mechanic or stereo shop do it for you (neighbor maybe??).

I doubt the harness can be repaired but it might not be as bad as the photo shows, in the future look up how to release the harness properly so you don't end up tugging the wires out. You should never be pulling on the wires of a harness.

Ahh good, should be easy to just rivet it back on, if you don't have the tools then just use 1/4-20 hardware, I recommend nylock nuts if you do decide to use the 1/4" hardware.

If you can try to stick with metric like M6 or M8 whatever fits the rivet holes but a lot of American hardware stores can be whiny little bitches about carrying metric hardware...

FYI nylock nuts should not be used where they are exposed to the outdoors. Use a nut with a metal "lock" built In instead.
