Hi everyone

I have a 2008 g35xs with no gps or backup camera. Does someone knows if i can buy an oem backup camera and the module driver for it and just install since i cheked and under the chrome spoiler on the trunk there is a wire for the backup camera.

Or if you have any other better suggestions how to install a backup camera.

I have a base G and installed a Boyo backup license plate camera years ago which still works great, but does not have any distance markings. Adding ultrasonic parking sensors also made a difference when backing up/parking. A while ago I thought of adding an OEM-like option and even bought a chrome strip with the camera cutout and a Sanyo backup camera with distance markings that was meant to work with it - never got around to installing either and sold both. I didn't do the install myself, but the shop that did it said it took them less than 1 hour.
