08 G35 window switch bezels
I have an 08 G35X sedan. As with them all the window switch bezels soft touch paint is coming off. I noticed while looking at a 09 G37 sedan that the switch bezels are not the soft touch material but hard plastic in the color for the car. First, is there a revised part for these switch bezels for the 08 that I can use to replace the originals? Or can I order the 09's and use them? Any help would be appreciated!

Has links for purchasing replacement parts, but also for popping off the panels, sanding and painting them for around $20 to look like new. I painted mine and they look great. These all have hard plastic, but for several years the hard plastic was coated with a "soft touch" material (trying to be luxurious) which was great when new but degraded badly with time. It is easy to strip off the soft-touch material then paint the hard plastic and reinstall. I literally scraped the rubbery coating off with a razor blade, then sanded mine. Never scratched or touched the hard plastic because it is actually very hard. So easy my 17 year-old son did it (under my supervision). Neither of us are particularly handy. The link above includes a great how-to video from YouTube.
