Coupe 6MT Premium RAS
Not that I know of, Nissan Datascan II can do it I think but it requires the software, laptop, interface cable.

Nice to see that there are still early second gen sedans with 100K+ miles still going without much of a hiccup. I picked my 08 6mt on 03/08 and just rolled pasted 125k miles. Other than the early water pump failure at 120k she’s still running strong.

2008 G35 Journey Sedan no sunroof
Original owner since May 2008 and at 93K miles. Getting a little irritated at the rattling noise in the engine (supposedly normal) and just got a quote for $4500 to fix the airbag light (requires full seat replacement.... not gonna fix, putting tape over light instead). Otherwise it's been a great car and minimal repairs. Had two breakdowns in the last year for starter and coolant hose connector. Replaced one wheel bearing (common issue) and had AC compressor replaced under extended warranty (noisy).

Next car will likely be something more mainstream like Accord or Altima since I only make short trips around town.

Hey man, could you elaborate on the wheel bearing, did you d.i.y.? and how hard of job is it? i just posted in the wheel and tire section about this very subject, but saw your post today! I believe its one or both of my fronts..... regards....

Big savings on a lot of levels. I think pre-tax price was around $37.8K for a fully loaded X with tech package.

I had shopped '06 G35x in spring of 2006 but again dealers wouldn't budge.
I also purchased mine in December of 2006. I am still driving it and loving it. I think if it wasn't manual transmission I would have upgraded to a newer Infiniti by now but it seems Infiniti is not building vehicles with manual transmission.

2008 Infinity G35X
Our current 2008 was purchased with around 30k but it was never titled. the owner of the dealership let his wife drive it. this ole girl has 202,000 miles on it to date. she is still in very good shape and running like a champ. we actually just replaced the original battery on it this year. we have taken it to infinity for just about everything since we had it. we did have a pretty nice ac repair 2 or 3 years ago, but other than that. this has been the best car we have ever owned. we just purchased a 2018 Q50 from the Cavana vending machine this month. we get to pick it up on the 26th. I think we will be infinity owners for life.

G35x
We leased our 2007 G35x in April 2007, then bought it at the end of the 3 year lease. We gave the car to our son when he turned 17 and got his license in May of 2016. Absolutely the most reliable car I have ever owned. It has about 160k miles and still going strong!!!

This thread is amazing. Lately I've been thinking about coming back to an an Infiniti after my GS400 was recently totalled.
Have been going back and fourth about an 07-08 G35xS or a 2010 G37xS.

Still on the fence about it but seeing so many high mileage examples running flawlessly makes me consider an 07-08 for some reason.

Lately I've seen some low mileage 07-08s around the same price as average mileage 09-10s.
Any reason why I should skip a G37 and go for an 07-08 model G?

G35X sedan
07 G35X sedan V36 with the VQ35HR with 215k and I love it

No major issues for me, I think that I have to change my cam shaft position sensors but other than that it is still fast and fun plus it handles amazing. First infinity and I love the G's more than the newer cars. Best of luck finding one for yourself

Our 07 has been so good over the now 12.5 years and 160,000+ miles that when my son turned 17 three years ago we gave it to him instead of buying someone else's used car problems. I did drive a G37x as a loaner back in 2009 when the G35x was in for a service and I was impressed on the difference in performance the extra 20 HP and 7 speed transmission made. It would actually chip the tires on a first to 2nd gear shift. I don't see a reason to not go with the G37 unless a low mile G35 was too good to pass up.

120K miles and still passing inspections. Actually I recently found new interest in the G and catching up on neglected maintenance. Still fun to drive.
