Custom grille?
Custom grille?
So I’ve been looking to get a custom mesh see through grill for my 07 sedan, and I cannot seem to find anywhere to find one and I can only find them for coupes, but I have a good idea in my head for my car and I need the grille to work out. If you have any ideas please let me know where I can get one or how to make it.
something like this https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=...BAgNEAc&adurl=
Buy a replacement grill, use a plastic saw (like for modeling) and remove/saw all the parts in the middle you don't want.
Sand it down to a smooth finish everywhere you chopped stuff off, buy generic ABS grill mesh, install with small screws and washers into a thicker plastic part of the grill. Probably will want to pilot drill out those holes just don't drill all the way through. Might even get away with gorilla glue or epoxy but screws will allow it to be replaced in the future if something breaks.
Prime and paint, done.
