2008 G35X vs G35Xs

I’m in the process of buying a 2008 g35x

currently I am looking for the sport model because of the paddle shifters but looking around it seems that I can buy a paddle shifter kit for around $500.

it would cost me much more than $500 to get the sports model but I am not sure if the sports model comes with anything more that would make the extra money worth it.

thanks!

If I remember correctly the suspension is stiffer on the xS, and I believe the brakes are upgraded.

Actually the cars are identical, except for the XS had 18" tires and wheels, (225/50/18) as opposed to 225/55/17 on regular X's better front seats! adjustable side, and thigh bolstering, and of course the paddle shifters standard. and maybe the sport grill, bumper. Cleric will correct us all on this. Zero difference in suspension dept.

This is my usual disclaimer.

Zero difference in suspension dept.
I'm about 99% sure the rear sway bar is upgraded. If so, it's not really worth the extra money, I upgraded my X with a NISMO 370Z rear sway bar for $130, night and day difference.

Not disagreeing with anything mentioned so far, but a point of clarification on the "sport" trim/package vs the "sport" trim/package on the AWD ("X") models. Not everything that the regular G35S gets crosses over to the G35XS due to the AWD system. The different size wheels front and back, for example, aren't available. I can't remember all of the variations but I do have the original Infiniti brochure from '08 that should. I'll dig it out shortly.

Regarding the paddle shifter "kit", is that still available ? I know 10+ years ago there was a parts counter guy from an Infiniti dealership that came up with the parts needed and was selling them. I wouldn't presume that all parts are still available, though they may be.

The "X" gets a larger sway bar, though I can't remember if it's the front or rear. Want to say the front because I've looked at upgrading mine on my G35X and everything I've read said the front is fine from the factory - it's already 'upgraded' as part of the AWD package.
