hi guys so i am looking to buy a 2008 g35 sedan automatic the one i went to the dealership to check in my country was fine with everything until i went for a computer check and it says P0011 INT/v CONT bank1 and p0732 2 gear incorrect ratio, the mechanic says there is some issue with the transmission maybe changing the automatic transmission fluid will fix it but if not then its costly repair, can someone please tell me if this issue is common in the g35s or anyone has had it before.
PS. sorry i don't know if i am posting this in the correct place
P0011 is a known issue with the VQ35HR, and its commonly caused by low oil pressure.
The oil gallery gasket on the rear of the timing cover can fail & cause the oil pressure to drop; the paper gasket fails. Typically the VTC sprockets are the first to starve from oil circulation, thus the ECM triggers P0011/P0021.
