Hey, I am currently in the process of installing an injen cold air intake on my 08’ g35 sedan. For some reason the rubber thing around the throttle body will not sit flush against it and the actual intake, although the clamps are secured and tighten down. I even gave it a yank and tug on the actual pipe and it is secure. Just wondering if it would be a problem that the rubber piece is not actually “flush” against the throttle body. Thanks for any help !

 

So you're saying it fit onto the throttle body but it just didn't go ALL THE WAY ON?

Did you fully loosen the clamp? Is there a flange inside the rubber/silicone coupler that's preventing it from going on further?

It will probably be fine but normally those things will fully seat up against the face of the throttle body.
