Suggested G35 S Musts

Hello, Everyone!
New to the site. A lot of great information on here. Just picked up a 2008 G35S Sedan with 141k miles on it for my son. Body is in excellent condition. Interior has the infamous plastic trim peeling, but we're already working on that with all the great information on here. Passenger door lock doesn't work. Hood shocks are worn. Leather is in great shape other than a few tears on the passenger seat. Previous owner just replaced all brake pads and rotors. Doesn't look like spark plugs have ever been replaced, don't know how that gets missed but have those ordered now. Disappointed in the bluetooth on this car, can't believe you can't play music from your phone without installing a bunch of extra hardware. We were told one of the shocks was leaking, so we'll probably do all four when we get around to replacing those. Oil was just changed, so we plan on taking the car in at 145k miles to Nissan for the next oil change to get some feedback from them on what they find on their multipoint inspections they perform.

Sorry for the long post. I was just wondering what are all your must do mods or things you think we should do immediately to ensure we get this car to last him 5 more years or at least 200k miles?

Honestly, you probably have to do nothing besides the obvious things you've mentioned. These cars are reliable.

I would also recommend doing a fluid flush all around (trans, diff, coolant, brake, etc). These should be changed every 30K but are often neglected. One benefit of the 2nd gen G35 vs the G37 is that you can fill the trans fluid through the dipstick. The G37 doesn't have one so you have to use a fluid pump which is painful and messy.
