Where is everyone?

I realize the 07/08 is a 13-14 year old car but the v36 is far from dead. The forum seems desolate for participants in this category. Only 16 thread replies this month and 8 new threads.

Also where is everyone from?
Albany, NY here

I agree. The V36 is still a great platform. Originally from Florida / New Jersey (spent equal time in both), but been living in the Lawrenceville, GA area since 2013.

Still here - original owner, although the G is getting a wee 'bit long in the tooth. I still can't think of what I would replace it with though... nothing seems to compare

I feel the same way. I've owned mine since 2010. I was looking at possibly replacing it with a 2020 Tacoma TRD PRO. But after test driving it, I just couldn't pull the trigger. It was my turn to get a new car, but ended up replacing my wife's car with a Model Y. That thing is a rocket!
I've always staid away from German cars. But the F80 is calling my name. Seems to be more reliable than previous M cars(minus the known Crankhub issue). So we'll see.

My other car is a 2018 Audi Q7 3.0, and it's a great ride but I want something sporty and and G-like that doesn't need a lot of maintenance (so Germans are out). Am thinking of a Genesis sedan as a potential replacement... nothing Japanese seems to fit the bill.

I also am still here and check in every so often. Well, it might be a 14-year-old car, but mine and they don't look it! if they are taken care of, although I only have 78,000 miles or so, it runs like new! I like vehicles I can leave late, and get there early! ( My stable includes, 18 Mustang GT, 12 Kawasaki Concours 14, 14 Ford Edge)

I currently have a 2018 991.2 Turbo S. I had a brand new G35 Coupe in 2005 that I've regretted selling for the longest time. Just recently I found a 2006 G35 Coupe with 45,000KM. Pulled the trigger and will be picking it up soon. Let the mods begin!

Dang, sounds like this decades version of a "barn find". How much did you snag that for?

I'm betting $10k or more if it's as clean as you would expect for that low of mileage. That's a heck of a find.
