Today my car, a 2007 G35X, has been to the garage for its yearly inspection.
They found out ball joint on the left front lower control arm has some play on it, too much to pass the inspection.
So i need new control arms, at least the driver side one, but i think it is smart to replace them both.
It looks like the AWD control arms are differend from the RWD ones, but i am still not sure about the part numbers.
Are the part numbers in this image from Z1 Motorsport correct?
These numbers i found at Rockauto, are they all the same part?
OEM / Interchange Numbers: 545001NA1A, 545001NA2A, 545001NA3A, 545001NA4A, 545001NA4B, 54500JK500, 54500JK51A
OEM / Interchange Numbers: 545011NA1A, 545011NA2A, 545011NA3A, 545011NA4A, 545011NA4B, 54501JK500, 54501JK51A
I am also looking for aftermarket brands, but for now the price for OEM are only a little bit higher then aftermarket.
If i buy OEM they will be from Amayama or Partsouq, maybe you know a site that sells aftermarkets for a better price.
I also have no idea what are good aftermarket brands.
The parts will have to be imported to the Netherlands, so shipping and import duty will be a big part of the cost.
Let me know, i have until 13 april to pass the inspection.
As far as I'm aware that's the correct piece, I typically trust Z1 Motorsports' part number listings. You can always call/email them to verify. Their pictures don't always show the actual item though, so you cannot always go off just the picture.
Called the local Infiniti dealer today,
At my VIN they found 54500-JK500 and 54501-JK500
These parts are out of production, Amayama mailed me they do not have it.
I must be sure 54500-1NA4B and 54501-1NA4B fits before ordering, how to check?
No, they are not.
There is only one dealer in the Netherlands, with only 2 locations, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Infiniti started in Europe in 2008, so all cars from before that date are imports.
There are only a few hundred V35/V36 cars in the Netherlands, some are JDM skyline, some USDM Infiniti, and some EUDM Infiniti.
The knowledge just is not there, and since Infiniti is leaving western Europe it will not get better.
I checked the Amayama site again, it shows the 54500-JK500, but also a few other numbers.
I think all the part numbers you posted will fit.
I have never ordered from those sites, but prices are not very differend from Amayama or Partsouq
I think i will order from Partsouq this time, they are in Dubai, buying there will save a lot of shipping time.
