who USES compact flash? i hope they didn't opt out of putting an aux input for a compact flash drive.
Audi has sd car slot and cnet lost two because of the size of the cards in the car. So it could be worse.

These pics just made me like the interior even more.

I'm SO glad Infiniti ditched the amber interior lighting in favor of blue lighting.

Not feeling the new Nissan steering wheel at design at all. You can see it also see it on the new Altima.

someone needs to photochop this pic w/ better wheels. This is a good pic though; there are some nice details in the profile that weren't visible in the other pics. I like the profile of the rear.

As for the tall ride height and it not being flat enough, well I'm sure that has a lot to do w/ Infiniti wanting to keep the car's wide appeal. For all of us enthusiasts on this board, there are more non-enthusiast owners out there. I've seen a suprising number of middle-aged women driving G sedans.

Personally, I like the interior of the G better than the IS. There is way too much clutter in the center console of the IS. Plus the plastic seems cheap. Yeah I give them the wood and chrome on the shifter but that's it. I like the G sedan redesign but thought the front should be different form the M.

I'm excited... I was looking at getting a G35C. But then I saw the concept and would wait for that. Then I started shopping the Lexus ISx50's around and the sedan style grew on me but I wasn't a big fan of the rear.

I love the redesign of the G35S... can't wait to actually see one in person. This moved to the top of my new purchase list. I would get the C... but insurance rates are lower for an S... lol

Thanks for the night pics of the interior btw... interested in seeing what the colors looked like.

Good to finally make a post after lurking for 4 months.

I think the chrome (please tell me I'm wrong) rear spoiler must be an inside joke from the dumb a$$es who put the Buick chrome door handles on the current gen. But I love the car, I can't imagine what they'll do with big bulge (not in a good way) in the dash if you don't get the nav. Don't know about the rubber audio/HVAC controls. The subtle crease that runs the side and dips down on the rear quarter is interesting - I hope it doesn't detract from a very sexy C pillar. I've owned a 96 Maxima and cursed that ugly butt on an otherwise great car, everyday I drove it - I think the G's will be better in person, but still the weak point. Ironically, I think they could have done better copying the current Maxima's rear. Would love the adjustable seat bolsters!

Well, I just saw the 07 G on Regis and Kelly (I work at home). And like I said before, you can't judge this car based on photos. You have to see it driving down the road. Regis drove off in it. And let me tell you, that car looks damn nice. Especially the rear with dual exhaust.

that is just a computerized rendition of the interior colors. i doubt the infiniti signature clock and intelligent push button start will be those colors. the smae thing happened w/ the M concept -- that same nav screen but it never came across the production model
