What needs to be done to get For Sale section in the regional sections of the forum?

This idea has been discussed by the mods and admins in the past, and it was decided that adding more classified sections only adds clutter and makes moderation more difficult. If you want to sell something locally just add "LOCAL ONLY" and the location to the title of your thread as per the posting guidelines announcements in the marketplace.

Additionally the marketplace was set up differently than the other regular sections to help prevent fraud and protect the site's members, allowing classified posts in other sections will make it impossible to implement the same security features.

You've got a couple options.

1) Go to My350z - they have regional For Sale forums there
2) As Christian mentioned, add "(insert location here) ONLY" to the end of your thread.

if that happens then a SoCal section will have to be created....and then Florida, NYC, etc.

the issue this that comes to mind is a lot of people start out local only but then decide to ship it after no one locally wants it.

But it would work well for big items. Body parts, interior, wheels. They would have a better chance of selling. some people don't even visit the marketplace.
