^^^I hear you, same thing happens to me with notifications.
I rarely post here anymore.
Still lots of issues with the site, I'm sure some of my PMs never reached the recipient, it still loads slow. It gets sooo irritating waiting for it to load, no other site I go to takes this long.
It's really too bad, the site used to perform much better.

I hear you ...things have definitely been getting more frustrating.
Notifications are a hard one to pinpoint, they could be getting hung up anywhere.
Mine are definitely delayed as well, but more like 30min to an hour.
The good news is that server updates are in the works.
We should see a significant improvement very soon.

Is there any information in the email header that will help? Here's the one off one of my notifications (with my email edited off)
Everything tagged with the time I got (6:33 EST) I highlighted it in blue, and everything that shows the time the post was made (4:11 EST) in red.
Here's another from before I changed my email address (to see if that was the problem)

Well, everything was going really good for a while. Notifications the second a post was made, etc... but now a new problem popped up last night.
I can't post from IE anymore. I don't know why, but I have to use Firefox.
Whenever I try and post or send a PM from IE it just goes to "The page cannot be displayed"
