Wouldn't let me post whatsoever all day yesterday, kept getting server connection BS messages. Tried from different computers as well as logging out, logging back in several times, with & without remember me checked, etc.

Additionally, no one has responded to my "Contact Us" attempts regarding all the advertising I see, even as a Premiere Member

Being a premier member doesn't make the pages ad free, even the staff see them. If you do want to speak to someone @ IB, I would send IB Adrian or Speedlimit a PM.

I understand that I'll always see the Google AdWords/Doubleclick served ads at the top of the page, however from my understanding I should never be seeing these

I think he was saying even tho he is a premier member, nobody has responded to him.

If you don't want to see ads, use FireFox and get the Ad Block Plus addon.

calcul8, those are ads by Vibrant Media inc. It's a mod installed on this forum, and can be blocked with ABP.

The only ads that can't be blocked by ABP are Google ads.

Looks like its fixed. Avatars are back!

Dudes with Firefox, if you dont want to see the ads on threads,websites..ect get Adblock Plus

Avalible here when you restart Firefox it will ask you to subscribe to a list, this is just for adblock to revive updates on Ad sites, select EasyList. And your good to go.

You can also subscribe to a list which will help you against malware

Scroll down to miscellaneous and click on Subscribe: Malware Domains

Thank you for the information - I was under the distinct impression that the Vibrant Media ads were disabled for Premiere Members, and yes, I was upset that no one had responded to my multiple contact attempts to get this resolved/answered.

Oh so it was the Vibrant Media ads you were talking about.
An ad in the ad section is one thing, but the words you and everybody else typing becoming ads? I think that's a bit invasive. Good thing it can be blocked on the client side.
ABP won't give you access to the super secret premier members only section here tho.

Hehe, good thing I'm still a Premiere Member (or is this even more super duper secret?)
